Animation Nation fest is here again! I was glad that I went for one of the seminars last year, and still am. Could still remember after hearing one of the groups of speakers, the Thai producer and art director presenting on their piece of animation, I immediately pestered my Dad to get a copy when he went over to Thailand for work. Hurhurhur, and that copy is now among my stack of precious collection. Just that it’s in Thai and without subtitles. But what’s amazing is that even without understanding a word they spoke, I can still follow the whole plot! And that’s great storytelling!
I definitely want to be inspired once again, and watch some of the short films screenings this time. But the irony is that I’m chained by mine.
